Wrench Heads

Reach nuts obstructed by a fluid line or other barrier with these wrench heads. Connect them to your socket extension and ratchet wrench to turn fasteners where clearance is limited from both the top and side. You can also attach one directly to your ratchet wrench to convert it into an open-ended ratcheting wrench. Also known as crowfoot wrenches.

Open-End 6-Point Sockets
![]() | |
Slide the open side of these sockets over a tube or hose to adjust a nut that’s already installed. You can turn them with ratchets, so they’re easier to use than open-end wrench heads—no need to pull the socket off the nut and reposition. The hex shape provides the best possible grip on hex fasteners and prevents rounding. Only use with hand-driven tools.

Box-End Wrench Head Sets

Attach one of the heads in these sets to a torque wrench for more leverage to loosen a stubborn fastener. Also known as torque adapters. You can easily calculate your desired torque setting with the precise 2” center-to-center length. The wrench heads can also be connected to an extension to reach fasteners when vertical clearance is limited. The box end grips all sides of the fastener to prevent slipping. For use with hand-drive tools only.

Secure-Grip Wrench Head Sets

Grip more of your fastener head with these wrench heads. They have a hex or 12-point opening with more surface area than rounded wrench heads, so they make more contact with fasteners for a better hold. Also known as flare-nut crowfoot wrenches or line wrenches, they're often used with flared tube fittings as well as fuel and hydraulic lines. Connect them to a socket extension and ratchet wrench to turn fasteners where clearance is limited from both the top and side. You can also attach one directly to your ratchet wrench to convert it into an open-ended ratcheting wrench.

Ratcheting Wrench Head Sets

Connect one of the heads in these sets to a socket extension to reach an obstructed fastener, then turn the fastener without removing and repositioning the wrench head. These also work well where clearance is limited from both the top and side. Alternatively, attach a head directly to a wrench handle to convert it into an open-ended ratcheting wrench. Also known as crowfoot wrenches.
