Surface-Mount Concealed Hinges

The easiest concealed hinges to mount. They open a full 180°, so they’re often used for lids.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common choice for areas exposed to occasional moisture.
300 Series Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these hinges resist rust. However, they won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel hinges can.
For Inset Door—For doors that are flush with their frame when closed.
Barrel-Shaped Hidden Hinges

Swing-Clear Entry Door Nonstandard Hole Pattern Hinges

Maximize the width of doorways to make room for carts, large equipment, and furniture. These hinges fold open to shift the hinge pin and door completely out of the opening. Fit the hinge leaves into cutouts (mortises) for flush mounting on doors and frames.
Nonremovable Pin—The tamper-resistant choice. Since the pin can’t be removed, the door can only be taken down by removing the hinge completely.

The hole pattern will match your door and the spring will swing it closed behind you. No need to measure and drill holes, these hinges have a standard half-moon pattern that’s identical across manufacturers. Fit the leaves into cutouts (mortises) to mount them flush with door and frame edges.

Entry Door Nonstandard Hole Pattern Hinges

Commonly installed on interior and exterior wood doors, these hinges have a different hole pattern than standard hinges. They also let you work around worn mounting holes when replacing hinges with the standard half-moon pattern. The leaves fit into cutouts (mortises) to mount hinges flush with door and frame edges. Also known as nontemplate hinges.
Removable Pin—For doors you need to remove occasionally to make adjustments or access equipment.
Primed Steel—Get a head start on painting with hinges that have primer already applied.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common choice for areas exposed to occasional moisture.
304 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these hinges resist rust. However, they won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel hinges can.
