Water-Resistant Economy Electronic Depth Micrometers
IP54 rated for limited protection from dust and splashing water. Change out the steel extension rods supplied in 1" incremental lengths to measure the depth of holes, slots, shoulders, and projections. The thimble has a constant-force mechanism, so that once the spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening.
Zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, retains the measuring position when the micrometer is turned off. A zero-set button allows you to start measuring at any point.

Coolant-Resistant Electronic Depth Micrometers
Take depth measurements in dirty machining environments. These micrometers are rated IP65, so they seal out oil, water, and dust. They come with multiple extension rods that you can swap out depending on the depth of your holes, slots, shoulders, or projections. They have a ratchet-stop thimble with a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. For repeatable measurements, the thimble stops turning once the spindle reaches your part to prevent overtightening. However, the speeder knob will continue to turn with a clicking sound. These micrometers have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, so they retain the measuring position after you turn the micrometer off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point.
USB data cables (sold separately) connect the micrometer directly to your PC.
Wireless data transmitters and receivers (both sold separately) allow you to send measurement data from a micrometer to your PC without being tethered by a cable.
