Fire Alarm-Activated Door Closers

These closers include a door holder, which keeps doors open with an electromagnet. When activated by a fire alarm, the magnet shuts off and releases the door. Hardwire these closers directly into your fire alarm system. Designed for frequently used doors, they last longer than standard door closers. They are for right or left door-swing directions. All meet ANSI/BHMA A156.15 durability, strength, and performance standards for release devices—closer holder, electromagnetic, and electromechanical.
Opens In—For opens-in closers, the door frame cannot project more than 1/8" from the door's face.
Opens Out—For opens-out closers, the frame cannot project more than 3 1/2" from the door's face.
