Stop hanging doors from swaying. These tracks and guides (both sold separately) give your door a path to run along the floor for smooth, stable motion. Light spring tension keeps the guides nestled in the track, so they won't jump the track. This system is especially great for making heavy doors glide evenly, but you can also use them with bypassing and folding doors. When you use them with folding doors, the guides swivel to allow the doors to open.

Use a saw to cut tracks to the length you need. You can mount tracks on top of finished floors or set them into a recess to avoid creating an obstruction or tripping hazard. Secure two guides to the bottom of each door directly under the hangers on the top of the door.

These complete kits contain everything you need to create a system for hanging doors. Tracks are lightweight aluminum, and hangers are steel. All hangers adjust vertically between the bottom of the track and the top of the door. Two hangers per door are required.
