Handle backset distance is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the door's handle cutout. Door frames are sold separately.

Removable center supports (sold separately) allow surface-mount exit devices to be used on double doors. They accept the strike plates included with standard and impact-resistant devices.

Keep conversations private. Thanks to their core made from sound-absorbing materials, these doors are more than twice as soundproof as typical hollow metal doors. While they block most everyday noises, louder sounds might still be faintly audible. For example, noise from heavy machinery or shouting won’t be blocked completely by these doors but will be significantly reduced. Use a door installation set (not included) to attach the door to the frame.

To determine door swing direction, stand on the side of the door where it swings away from you. If it opens to the right, it's a right swing door; if it opens to the left, it's a left swing door.

Also known as double-egress doors, these doors open in opposite directions—one side for entering, the other for exiting—to keep traffic flowing. They’re often used in hospitals, schools, and other busy places. For quick entry and exit, add touch bars with vertical rods (not included).
