Center-Knurled Dowel Pins

Center-knurled pins are often used in place of clevis pins or to create T-handles. The knurled center locks pins in position, while the smooth ends act as a pivot. Because these pins are knurled all the way around, they distribute twisting forces more evenly than grooved pins. The ends are chamfered for easy insertion. Pins are made of steel for good strength. Breaking strength is measured as double shear, which is the force required to break a pin into three pieces.
