    Plunger-Style Edge Finders

    Locate the edge of a workpiece in your CNC machine without running the spindle. These edge finders mount in the collet or chuck of your spindle but don't spin, so you can keep the machine doors open for a clear line of sight while you position them. Compress the plunger against your workpiece and move it toward the edge. The plunger will drop and click into its full position, indicating it has reached the edge.
