Equipment-Cooling Fan Power Cords

Plug these cords into fans that have quick-disconnect terminals. The industry designation is SPT, so they have a flat cord shape.
Cords with a 45° elbow socket fit close against the fan.
Drop-Down Extension Cords with Outlet Boxes

Put overhead outlets in arm’s reach. These extension cords suspend pendant box outlets from the ceiling. Use them instead of running extension cords on the floor to reduce tripping hazards or instead of hardwiring power for a less disruptive install. The cord is flexible enough to loop and secure with a cable tie to adjust the drop height. They are designated SOOW, which means they have insulation that protects these cords from oil, water, and chemicals. Use them near greasy equipment or in damp workspaces without them cracking or getting brittle. If the outlet box bumps into your equipment, a thick rubber housing prevents damage.
These cords have a cord grip that fastens to the ceiling, making it hard to yank the plug from the ceiling outlet. A mesh extension wrapped around the end of the cord supports the weight of hanging and the strain of bending and swinging. On the other end, another cord grip ensures the outlet box stays connected to the extension cord. They meet OSHA requirements for strain relief. These cords do not support the weight of your equipment, so rest the outlet box on your work surface when in use.

A ratchet holds the extension cord on these reels in place at any length; a quick pull releases the cord and the spring-driven winding mechanism retracts it. An adjustable ball lock controls how much cord retracts into the reel.
Reels with a carrying handle can be taken where you need them. Their extension cord acts as a power cord.
Reels with a circuit breaker trip if there’s too much current to prevent overload damage.

Outlet Strips
Provide power to multiple devices with these outlet strips. A circuit breaker prevents damage from current overload and short circuits.
Use outlet strips with USB ports to charge mobile devices. Telephone connections connect to a land line. Outlet strips with 90° and 360° outlet orientation accommodate large plugs. The face of 360° outlets rotate a full circle.
Surge suppression outlet strips protect against damage from voltage spikes. Surge rating indicates how much energy the outlet strip can absorb before it needs to be replaced; the higher the number, the better the protection.
Fasten mounting clips to a surface, and snap the channel on the back of outlet strips into the clips.

Outlet Strips with Master Outlet
Save energy by automatically turning off unused outlets—the master outlet controls the follower outlets and shuts off power to those outlets when a device plugged into the master is turned off. For example, plug a main device, such as a computer, into the master outlet; plug accessory devices, such as a monitor and printer, into the follower outlets. Turn the main device on and off to control power to the accessory devices. They also have independent outlets that are always on. Sliding outlet covers protect outlets from dust when not in use. Surge suppression protects devices from voltage spikes. The surge rating indicates how much energy the outlet strip can absorb before it needs to be replaced. Telephone connections connect to a land line. Coaxial connections connect to F-type coaxial cords for video. A circuit breaker prevents damage from current overload and short circuits.
