Micro M12 Screw-Together Connectors
Because they tightly thread to M12 connections, these connectors won’t let contaminants in or come loose from vibration in rugged industrial environments and automated systems as they send power and signal or just power to your equipment. Their poles and keyways adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance you’ll mismatch connectors.
A- and C-coded connectors send both power and signal, while K-, L-, S-, and T-coded connectors only send power. K- and L-coded connectors have a ground pole that sticks out longer than the rest of their poles. It’s the first to connect and last to disconnect, which helps prevent equipment damage in case of voltage spikes or a broken connection. These connectors also have a high current rating. Choose K-coded connectors for AC frequency converters, relays, and robotics. Use L-coded connectors with DC devices and to power IO Link modules.
Connectors with polyurethane or TPE insulation resist chemicals and UV rays. Because they stand up to bending, they’re good for jobs with continuous motion. Polyurethane also resists oil and is halogen free, which can corrode metal and is dangerous to inhale. TPE also resists abrasion and won’t pit or crack from welding runoff. TPE meets TC-ER crush and impact requirements for exposed runs in cable carriers.IP65 connectors can be lightly rinsed. IP67 and IP68 rated connectors can withstand brief submersion. Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP and NEMA ratings when not in use.
Note: Sockets and female receptacles may have extra holes on their face that are not used.
