Because they tightly thread to M12 connections, these connectors won’t let contaminants in or come loose from vibration in rugged industrial environments and automated systems as they send power and signal or just power to your equipment. A- and C-coded connectors send both power and signal, while K-, L-, S-, and T-coded connectors only send power. K- and L-coded connectors have a ground pole that sticks out longer than the rest of their poles. Polyurethane also resists oil and is halogen free, which can corrode metal and is dangerous to inhale. TPE also resists abrasion and won’t pit or crack from welding runoff. TPE meets TC-ER crush and impact requirements for exposed runs in cable carriers.IP65 connectors can be lightly rinsed. IP67 and IP68 rated connectors can withstand brief submersion.

Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP and NEMA ratings when not in use.
