Ready-to-Use Silicone Potting Compounds
No mixing required—these potting compounds come ready to apply. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Softer and more flexible than epoxies and urethanes with the widest temperature range, silicone potting compounds are the best choice for high-temperature applications and electronics exposed to thermal cycling. They have good moisture resistance but poor chemical and abrasion resistance. Silicones provide excellent electrical insulation. They're also known as RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) compounds because they don’t need heat or UV light to cure.
Potting compounds that meet UL 94 V-0 have passed a test for flame retardance.
Potting compounds that cannot be sold to California exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Light-Activated Silicone Potting Compounds
Pot multiple electronics in a flash—these compounds don’t require mixing and they cure within seconds under UV light. Made of silicone, they’re softer and more flexible than epoxy or urethane compounds, so they’re better at protecting against shocks and vibration. They also withstand a wider range of temperatures, so they’re often used with electronics that heat and cool rapidly. These compounds are excellent electrical insulators, and they’ll shield your components from moisture and dust. However, they don’t hold up well to abrasion or chemicals. The tapered nozzle lets you apply them precisely.

Urethane Potting Compounds
Encase electronic assemblies in a layer of urethane for protection from dust, moisture, chemicals, mechanical shock, and vibration. Urethanes withstand a wide range of temperatures and are the best choice for cold-temperature applications. They have excellent flexibility, good chemical and moisture resistance, and provide good electrical insulation.
Cartridge potting compounds can be applied precisely through the included mixer nozzle. You’ll need a dispensing gun (sold separately). US2350™ also require a 4:1 plunger (sold separately) to dispense.
Bottle potting compounds are easier to apply in high volumes than cartridge potting compounds. Mix the compounds together and pour them over components inside potting boxes and other containers. If mixing introduces any air bubbles, put the mixture in a vacuum chamber.

Light-Activated Urethane Potting Compounds
In just 20 seconds under a UV light, these urethane compounds form into a strong protective layer on electrical components. They withstand a wide range of temperatures and are good electrical insulators. They also stop chemicals, moisture, and dust from damaging your device. With excellent flexibility, they protect against vibration and impact. Since they also work as an adhesive, you can use them to bond and insulate components such as electrical connectors and thermal switches. No mixing required.

Adjustable-Flexibility Heat-Transfer Potting Compounds
Mixing required—resin and hardener come in two separate jars or in a jar and syringe and must be combined before applying. Change the mix ratio of these heat-transfer potting compounds to achieve the right hardness for your application. They're formulated to draw heat away from sensitive electronic components, so they have higher thermal conductivity than standard potting compounds. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, chemicals, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Rigid and wear resistant, epoxies are the strongest of the potting compounds. They have excellent chemical and moisture resistance, withstand a wide range of temperatures, and provide excellent electrical insulation.
The size listed is the combined total of the two parts.

EMI/RFI Shielding Coatings for Electronics
Protect sensitive electronic parts, enclosures, and prototypes from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) with these coatings. Also known as conductive paint, these coatings block EMI and RFI from disrupting electrical, data, and radio signals, which can cause circuit malfunctioning and data loss.
For best adhesion, apply to clean, oil-free surfaces. If applying to highly chemical-resistant plastics such as PVC and PTFE, use a primer first.
Carbon acrylic coatings are made with ground carbon powder mixed with acrylic. They're best for RFI and low-frequency shielding applications, such as protecting jumpers and resistors in initial prototypes, since they're not as conductive as nickel and silver acrylic coatings. They don’t contain metal, so they’re also great for electronics where metal-filled coatings could cause malfunction, such as metal detectors.
Nickel acrylic coatings are made with nickel flakes mixed with acrylic. They’re the best in our offering for protecting magnetic components, since they absorb and redirect magnetic fields. While not as conductive as silver acrylic coatings, they still protect against a broad spectrum of EMI and RFI frequencies. Use them to repair small circuits on circuit boards and to coat devices such as meter and scanner housings. They have good corrosion resistance.
Silver acrylic coatings are made with silver flakes mixed with acrylic. They’re the most conductive coatings in our offering, so they protect against the broadest spectrum of EMI and RFI frequencies. They’re also the most corrosion resistant. Use them to coat portable electronics, access panels, industrial cabinets, and engine control modules.

Conductive Adhesives for Electronics
An alternative to solder, these flexible, silver-filled adhesives accommodate joint movement. Use them to bond electrical components and repair circuits.
Epoxy adhesives are two-part adhesives that need to be mixed together. The size listed is the combined total of the two parts.
Thermoplastic adhesives are one-part adhesives that don’t need to be mixed. Dry to the touch and faster and easier to apply than two-part adhesives, they’re best for use on automated assembly lines. Often used to join solar cells in solar panels, these adhesives make instant electrical connections without flux at lower temperatures than soldering. Since they attach to solar cells with heat and slight pressure, they limit stress cracks that can form when soldering. These adhesives can also be used as a bridge between multiple solar panels.
