Micro M12 Cords
The threaded ends on these cords seal out contaminants and resist coming loose from vibration in tough industrial environments and automated systems while sending power and signal to devices with M12 connections. Poles and keyways on the connector face adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance of mismatching connections during setup.
A-coded cords work with AC and DC sensors, actuators, motors, light curtains, and other devices. They’re also often used to connect equipment to IO Link controllers and within Profibus, DeviceNet, and other fieldbus systems.
Cords with PVC insulation work well in general purpose applications, but they shouldn’t be used outdoors. While flexible, these cords aren’t as flexible as cords with polyurethane or TPE insulation, making them best for stationary jobs. Cords with polyurethane or TPE insulation resist chemicals and sunlight, so you can use them outdoors. Because they stand up to bending, they’re good for jobs with continuous motion, such as robotics. Polyurethane also resists oil and is halogen free, which can corrode metal and is dangerous to inhale.
Use unshielded cords in applications where signal interference isn’t a concern. Double-shielded cords have layers of braid and foil that block signal interference from nearby devices, reducing the chance of signal loss between equipment.
Cords with a 90° elbow run along the side of equipment, so they fit behind machines and in tight spaces.
When mated, the connectors are IP rated to block out dust and water if briefly submersed. IP65 rated connectors can be lightly rinsed. IP66K rated connectors can be sprayed down during high-pressure washdowns.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.

Food Industry Micro M12 Cords
FDA compliant for direct contact with food, these cords are safe to use with 12 mm proximity switches, valves, and power supplies in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. They won’t break down from high heat or washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers when mated because of their IP ratings, TPE insulation, and polypropylene and stainless steel housing. Their insulation also means they’re highly flexible and resist chemicals, UV rays, and abrasion. All cords are threaded, so they won’t come loose from vibration in automated systems.
To reduce the risk you’ll mismatch connections, poles and keyways on the connector face adhere to standard coding layouts. All cords are A coded, so use them to send signal and power to AC and DC devices. They are also often used to connect devices to IO Link controllers and in fieldbus systems such as Profibus and DeviceNet.

Stainless Steel Armored Micro M12 Cords
Step on or roll carts and platform trucks over these M12 cords without crushing them. A protective layer of stainless steel makes these the most crush- and abrasion-resistant M12 cords we offer. It also prevents damage from pests that chew through cords. The stainless steel and PVC outer layer keep moisture from corroding the cord, so they can be used outdoors and near chemicals as well. Despite the stainless steel covering, these cords are still flexible enough to route around equipment. Threaded ends create a tight connection that seals out contaminants and won’t shake loose from the vibration of automated machines.
These cords have a standardized code layout to reduce the chances of accidentally mis-mating them. All are A-coded to send signal and power to AC and DC devices. A-coded cords are often used with sensors, actuators, and motors in automated systems. They also connect devices to IO Link controllers and within fieldbus systems, such as Profibus and DeviceNet.
When mated or capped, these cords meet IP ratings. IP67 cords withstand temporary submersion. IP69 cords are protected from dust and high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.
Note: Sockets may have extra holes on the face that are not used.

Ethernet Cords with M12 Connectors
The M12 threaded ends on these cords seal out contaminants and resist coming loose from vibration better than the RJ45 ends on traditional Ethernet cords. Use them in tough, rugged environments to send high-speed data between sensors, switches, servers, computers, and PLCs not protected by control panels. These cords can power devices as they send data, as long as devices are Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible. They are often used within Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCat systems. Their poles and keyways adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance you’ll mismatch connections.
All cords are backward compatible, so they work in networks that meet the same or lower ethernet cable category. For example, a Category 6 cord will work in a Category 5 network, but it will only run at the Category 5 speed.
A- and X-coded cords send data faster than D-coded cords, so they’re good for robotics and multi-step programs.
With either TPE or polyurethane insulation, all cords stand up to harsh factory conditions, chemicals, and UV rays. All are also highly flexible, so they’re good for jobs with continuous motion, such as robotics. TPE-insulated cords resist abrasion and won’t pit or crack from welding runoff.
Use unshielded cords where signal interference is not a concern. Double-shielded cords have layers of braid and foil that block signal interference from nearby devices, preventing impact to transmission speeds and data.
90° elbow cords sit flush against equipment, so they fit behind machinery in areas where space is tight.
When mated, all cords are IP67 rated to protect against dust and temporary submersion. IP65-rated cords stand up to washdowns. IP66K-rated cords stand up to high-pressure washdowns.

Ethernet Cords with M12 and RJ45 Connectors
To send high-speed data in tough, rugged environments, these cords have an M12 connector on one end that threads onto switches, sensors, and other devices prone to vibration. The other end has a traditional RJ45 plug that connects to Ethernet equipment, such as computers, IO modules, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). These cords can also power devices as they send data, so you don’t need a separate power cord. But, the device must be Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible. They’re often used with EtherNet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCAT systems. With TPE insulation, they stand up to bending in robotics applications. It also means they resist abrasion and won’t pit or crack from chemicals, sunlight, and welding runoff.
Thanks to its threads and IP rating, the M12 end is water and dust tight when mated. Poles and keyways on its face adhere to standard coding layouts, which reduces the chance of mismatching connections.
When choosing an Ethernet cord, make sure you match or exceed your network’s ethernet cable category. These cords are backward compatible—for example, a Category 6 cord will work in a Category 5 network, but it’ll only run at the Category 5 speed.
A- and X-coded cords send data faster than D-coded cords, so they’re best for systems that run multi-step programs, such as robotics.
Use unshielded cords where signal interference is not a concern. Double-shielded cords have layers of braid and foil that block signal interference from nearby devices, maintaining their speed and data integrity.
Cords with a 90° elbow run along the side of equipment, so they fit behind machines and in tight spaces.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP rating when not in use.

Ethernet Cords with M8 and RJ45 Connectors
Send high-speed data between sensors, switches, or I/O modules with an M8 connection and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and computers with a traditional RJ45 connection. Braided and foil shielding blocks signal interference from nearby equipment. And with a polyurethane insulation that bends easily, these cords are ideal for applications that continuously flex such as robotics. They also resist oil. The M8 end is rated IP67 when mated, so it keeps out dust and water from temporary submersion.
