18-8 Stainless Steel Hex-Drive Rivets

Also known as fab-lock fasteners, these rivets consist of a sleeved screw and a hex-washer head. They’re made of 18-8 stainless steel to resist corrosion in wet environments. When you turn the hex drive, the sleeve fans out against the back of your material to resist vibration, expansion, and contraction. Install these rivets into holes with a wrench and socket—you only need access to one side of the material.
To speed up installation, pair a driver tool (sold separately) with your drill. The tool includes a sleeve to hold the rivet head in place and a socket to turn the hex drive.
Use a drill bit/driver tool (sold separately) for the fastest installation—you can drill a hole and install the rivet without switching tools. Drill a hole with the bit, then slide the driver tool over it. The base of the bit mates with the driver tool and turns the internal socket. A magnet at the end of the driver tool holds the rivet head in place while you turn the hex drive.
