They’re rated NSF/ANSI 2 for splash zones, so you can use them around splashing liquids from food. They’re sealed against humidity and low-pressure washdowns thanks to their IP65 rating. You can install these IC-rated lights in direct contact with insulation without risking a fire. Their lens disperses light evenly.

Neutral lights are often used in workspaces.

IIlluminate outdoor areas and objects such as parking lots, flag poles, and signs. These lights can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed. All have built-in LEDs. They last longer, are more efficient, and generate less heat than other technologies. These lights produce a cool light appearance, which highlights white/blue tones and creates good visibility at night. Lights have an acrylic lens which is more impact resistant than standard glass lenses. They won’t turn yellow over time.

Use a bracket (sold separately) to mount lights to a wall or pole.

Hang these lights in garages and covered walkways to create a safe, well-lit path. They’re also known as canopy lights. All are either UL or ETL Listed for use in wet locations. Select a light appearance to match your existing lighting. If you’re not sure what temperature you need, choose a light with a selectable light appearance. You can adjust the temperature with a switch.

Fasten these lights to a ceiling or to an outlet box.

Styles B and D illuminate both the ceiling and the ground, so your space feels brighter and larger. When replacing older fixtures, use a mounting plate (sold separately) to cover any hole larger than the dimensions of the new fixture.

Lights with a light sensor automatically turn on in low light conditions. When adding a motion sensor to a light that doesn’t already have one, you’ll also need a remote (sold separately). Use the remote to set the motion sensor’s reach and adjust how much darkness triggers the light sensor.

Color rendering index (CRI) is a measurement on a scale of 0-100 of how accurately the light from a bulb represents an object's true colors; the higher the number, the more natural the colors appear. CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs are energy efficient, but take several seconds to reach full brightness. They cannot be sold to the listed areas because they do not meet local efficiency standards and exceed local regulatory limits on mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl).
