Mount these lights in large, open areas where flammable and combustible gases may be present, such as during leaks or ventilation failures. These lights are rated for use in NEC Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations. They meet NEC hazardous location temperature classifications, so their surface stays cool enough to avoid igniting hazardous gases. All are IP rated and UL marine listed, which confirms they also keep out dust and water and resist the corrosive effects of salt water. Mount them to your ceiling or wall with the included bracket.

For additional protection, choose a light rated for more NEC classes.

Style 2 meet ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) requirements for use on docks and ships. If you want to mount these to a 2 3/8" dia. pole, add a mounting bracket (sold separately).
