    Screw-In-Base Floodlight and Spotlight Bulbs

    Light up large areas or spotlight an object. These bulbs suit recessed cans and outdoor floodlights. Light is brightest at beam center and roughly half as bright at the edges. All are shatterproof plastic.
    Use the light appearance to match older bulbs in your facility.
    BR30 Bulb Shape—Medium (Standard Household) Base (1 1/16" Dia.)

    BR and R bulbs cast broad beams, ideal for large can fixtures.
    Warm (2,700 K)—A 2,700K (warm) light appearance resembles incandescent bulbs.
    Warm (3,000 K)—A 3,000K (warm) light appearance resembles halogen bulbs.
    Selectable Light Appearance—If you aren't sure what you need, pick a bulb with a selectable light appearance.

    IP or NEMA rated, these lights have a sealed lens to keep dust and moisture out for protection against washdowns. All meet ETL or UL standards for wet locations.

    Style B

    With Backup Battery—Lights with a backup battery stay illuminated for at least 90 minutes during a power outage in compliance with UL 924.
    Style B—Styles A-B have a wraparound lens that allows light to shine from the sides as well as the bottom.
    IP65—IP65 lights withstand light rinses.

    Often used for general task lighting and in flashlights, projectors, and microscopes, these bulbs are small but very bright. To replace a bi-pin bulb without a trade number, match the base number, voltage, and wattage. The base number reflects the pin spacing from center to center in millimeters—for example, G4 base pins are 4 mm apart. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb.

    Replace your fluorescent bulbs or upgrade to LED. These light bulbs are the most common tubular bulbs for fixtures inside plants, warehouses, and offices. Select a light appearance to match your existing lighting. If you’re not sure what temperature you need, choose a bulb with more than one light appearance. You can adjust the temperature with a switch.
    LED—LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than fluorescent bulbs. You can choose bulbs that work with or without a ballast—some bulbs can do both.
    Ballast-Bypass LED—Ballast-bypass bulbs work with sockets that are wired directly to the power source, which cuts down on maintenance. If your fixture has a ballast, you’ll need to remove it.

    MR16 Bulb Shape

    Often used in display and landscape lighting, these small bulbs produce a focused beam of light. Bulbs that are 50W or higher are often used in overhead projectors and microscopes. They’re brightest at the center of their beam angle; the edges of the beam are about half as bright. The narrower the beam, the more concentrated the light.
    LED—LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than halogen bulbs. They generate little heat and withstand vibration.
    Plastic Bulb—Plastic LED bulbs are shatterproof.
