Explosion-Proof Ceiling Lights

Contain explosions, sparks, and flashes—the enclosure on these ceiling lights makes them safe to use in NEC Class I and II, Division 1 hazardous locations. They meet NEC hazardous location temperature classifications, so their surface stays cool enough to avoid igniting hazardous gases or dust. Designed to resist corrosion from salt water, they’re also UL marine listed. All lights have adjustable mounting brackets that can rotate 45° in either direction to direct light where you need it.
Lights with a backup battery shine for at least 90 minutes during a power outage to comply with UL 924.

Explosion-Proof Linear Bay Lights
Safely light up chemical processing plants, mining operations, and other large areas where combustible gases and dust are present. These lights have an explosion-proof housing that contains sparks and flames, so they won’t react to nearby hazards. With a T4 classification, their surface temperature stays below 275° F to avoid igniting flammable substances. Because they’re totally sealed, they also work well in wet, dusty, and corrosive environments—they’re IP and NEMA rated, and UL marine listed.
Mount them to your ceiling or other surface with the included adjustable bracket. The bracket pivots, so you can aim the light where needed. To suspend them from your ceiling, combine a pendant mount and junction box (sold separately).

Hazardous Location Linear Bay Lights
Mount these lights in large, open areas where flammable and combustible gases may be present, such as during leaks or ventilation failures. These lights are rated for use in NEC Class 1, Division 2 hazardous locations. They meet NEC hazardous location temperature classifications, so their surface stays cool enough to avoid igniting hazardous gases. All are IP rated and UL marine listed, which confirms they also keep out dust and water and resist the corrosive effects of salt water. Mount them to your ceiling or wall with the included bracket.
For additional protection, choose a light rated for more NEC classes. NEC Class II-rated lights protect against flammable and combustible dust. NEC Class III-rated lights protect against flammable and combustible fibers.
Style 1 are IK08 rated—they'll withstand impact. They have a tempered glass lens that resists scratches better than a polycarbonate lens. All are ETL and C-ETL listed to meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards. To hang them from the ceiling, add suspension hardware or combine them with a pendant mount and junction box (all sold separately).

Explosion-Proof Floodlights

Light up offshore rigs, coal mines, and other outdoor areas where gas, vapor, or dust could ignite. These lights have an enclosure that contains sparks and explosions, so they won’t react with nearby hazards. The enclosure is also rated IK10, the highest impact rating, so it can withstand heavy blows without breaking. These lights are UL marine listed, with an aluminum housing and stainless steel hardware that resist corrosion from saltwater. They’re also IP66 rated, meaning they are sealed to keep out dust and heavy rain.
Mount these lights to a wall or square pole using the included bracket. The bracket pivots, so you can aim the beam right where you need it.

Outdoor Wall Lights
Light up entryways and paths alongside your building for safe travel after dark. These lights are also known as wall packs. Mount them to outlet boxes on the exterior of your building.
These lights meet UL or ETL for wet locations. Lights rated IP65 are sealed to keep out dust and driving rain.
Styles A-E have a switch for selecting the light appearance. Connect them to your lighting control system or toggle the light sensor to automatically turn them on when it gets dark. Lights with a downcast beam are also known as full cut-off lights. Often installed above doors, they help reduce glare by aiming light down instead of toward your eyes.

LED Light Bulbs for High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Lights

Replace high-intensity discharge (HID) lights with the longer-lasting, energy-efficient LEDs. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. LED lights are perceived as brighter at night than high-intensity discharge light technologies, so they require fewer lumens to provide the same brightness. Match your old light’s wattage to find the right LED bulb. A bulb’s estimated yearly cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
Ballast bypass bulbs eliminate the need for a ballast, so the socket must be wired directly to the power source.
