Explosion-Proof Dock Lights

Safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, liquids, and dust, these lights are rated NEC Class I, II, and III. Their housing contains fire and sparks, so they won’t ignite what’s in your environment. They’re rated T4A, an NEC hazardous location temperature classification. This means their surface temperature stays below 248° F to prevent them from reacting with nearby flammable substances. These lights swing out from the wall, and their head tilts and swivels to illuminate loading docks and trailers. UL marine listed and NEMA 4X rated, they stand up to salt water and other corrosive liquids, and they’re sealed to withstand washdowns.
Their lens is tempered glass, so it resists scratches and impact during loading and unloading. Since the lens is clear, the lights give focused illumination that is useful for tasks and spot lighting. The LEDs emit a cool light that highlights white and blue tones and has a brighter appearance than neutral light.
Hazardous location environmental ratings indicate where manufacturers have included safety features in products to facilitate their safe use in hazardous environments. Before selecting a product for a hazardous location, ensure it is rated for your environment.
