    Recessed Ceiling Emergency Backup Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Emergency Backup Lights. Recessed Ceiling Emergency Backup Lights, Style A.

    Style A

Installed in drop ceilings, these lights are often used in open workspaces where columns and walls are few and far between. Unlike traditional backup lights, they don’t require a vertical surface for mounting. When the power goes out, they kick on, lighting the path toward exits. Direct light where it’s needed by angling the adjustable heads. Their battery generates at least 90 minutes of power in compliance with UL 924 standards for backup lights. A low-voltage disconnect extends the life of the battery by switching it off before it’s fully drained.
Once a month, these lights automatically test that the battery and heads are working. An indicator tells you if they need maintenance. They also have a manual switch that lets you test them any time.
Wire these lights to add-on heads to extend lighting into stairwells, exits, and other remote areas. The greater the wattage of the add-on heads—and the more of them you use—the more they’ll reduce your light’s run time.

A gasket seals the enclosure of these backup lights from washdowns. Adjust the heads toward your walkways—they kick on when the power goes out, lighting the path toward exits. Rated UL 924, their battery provides at least 90 minutes of light. A low-voltage disconnect automatically shuts off the battery before it's fully drained, prolonging its overall lifespan. All are dust-tight and have a manual-test switch that lets you verify the battery and heads are working.
