Expand the reach of emergency backup lights. These add-on heads are often used to extend emergency lighting into stairwells, exits, and other remote areas. They’re an economical alternative to buying an additional full-sized backup light. To power them, run low-voltage wiring right from your backup light. They are adjustable, so you can angle them to direct light where it’s needed.
Select a head that matches your backup light’s output voltage. To meet UL 924, don't exceed the maximum wattage of add-on heads listed for your light. This ensures you won’t push your light's run time below 90 minutes.

When the power goes out, these lights turn on. They have adjustable heads that illuminate the path toward exits during outages. Rated UL 924, their battery provides at least 90 minutes of light. A low-voltage disconnect means the battery shuts off just before it’s fully drained, prolonging its overall lifespan.
All have a manual-test switch that lets you verify the battery and heads are working.

Style D lights are compatible with add-on heads. Run wiring between add-on heads and your backup light to extend lighting into stairwells, exits, and other remote areas. The greater the wattage of the add-on heads—and the more of them you use—the more they’ll reduce your light’s run time.
Maximum Distance Between Lights—Maximum distance between lights represents how far you can space out two lights without creating a dark zone.
Maximum Wattage for Add-On Heads—Maximum wattage for add-on heads refers to the total wattage of add-ons you can use without pushing your light’s run time below 90 minutes.

No hardwiring required—these backup lights plug into a standard outlet. They kick on when the power goes out to light the path toward exits. Their battery generates at least 90 minutes of power in compliance with UL 924 standards for backup lights. A low-voltage disconnect extends the life of the battery by switching it off before it’s fully drained. Direct light where it’s needed by angling the adjustable heads. All have a manual-test switch that lets you verify the battery and heads are working.
