About Brightness and Light Appearance

Linear Bay Lights

With more surface area than round bay lights, these fixtures produce softer light with less glare. Use them to replace old fluorescent lights and illuminate large, open areas with high ceilings. Rated for use in damp locations, these lights withstand humidity and moisture.

Lights with a motion sensor turn on when people or vehicles are present. Add a remote (sold separately) to program your sensor’s settings without needing to climb up to the light.

Styles B-D have thermally protected drivers and larger heat sinks than other bay lights, so they’ll last longer at higher temperatures. Their LEDs have a consistent color temperature, which helps maintain a uniform appearance across multiple lights.

Style C can be mounted with the included suspension hardware or mounting brackets (sold separately). The suspension hardware comes with two wire rope slings with hooks and two wire rope clamps. No tools are required for installation—adjust the suspension length and tighten the clamps to secure. Those with a backup battery stay lit for 90 minutes if the power goes out.

Low-Profile Wet-Location Ceiling and Wall Lights

Tough enough for offshore rigs and seafaring vessels—yet less than half the height of typical jelly jar lights. Built with a thick aluminum housing and a tough polycarbonate lens, these lights withstand hard impact without a guard. Rated IP66 and UL marine listed, these lights seal out water and resist the corrosive effects of salt water. They even meet ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) requirements for use on docks and ships.

A frosted lens evenly disperses light and reduces glare. Add a colored lens (sold separately) to use these lights as an indicator.

Install ceiling-mount lights using the included cord grip to seal out water during hardwiring. For wall-mount lights, use conduit or a cord grip (not included).

Explosion-Proof Floodlights

Light up offshore rigs, coal mines, and other outdoor areas where gas, vapor, or dust could ignite. These lights have an enclosure that contains sparks and explosions, so they won’t react with nearby hazards. The enclosure is also rated IK10, the highest impact rating, so it can withstand heavy blows without breaking. These lights are UL marine listed, with an aluminum housing and stainless steel hardware that resist corrosion from saltwater. They’re also IP66 rated, meaning they are sealed to keep out dust and heavy rain.

Mount these lights to a wall or square pole using the included bracket. The bracket pivots, so you can aim the beam right where you need it.
