Alloy Steel Socket Head Screws

With a tensile strength of 170,000 psi, these alloy steel screws are stronger than Grade 8 steel screws. Length is measured from under the head.
Black-oxide steel screws are mildly corrosion resistant in dry environments. Fine and extra-fine threads are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration; the finer the thread, the better the resistance. They are not compatible with coarse threads.

Extreme-Strength Steel Heavy Hex Nuts—Grade 2H

Because they’re about 10% wider and taller than standard hex nuts, these heavy hex nuts distribute the load over a large area. Grade 2H nuts are comparable in strength to Grade 9 bolts. They're about 20% stronger than high-strength steel nuts and are used in heavy machinery, such as earth-moving equipment.
Blue PTFE-coated steel nuts have a slippery surface to resist sticking during installation. They're resistant to chemicals and salt water.

Super-Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel
Heavy Hex Nuts for High-Pressure Applications

These nuts have excellent chemical resistance and can be used in saltwater environments. They're able to maintain their strength in high-pressure and high-temperature environments and are used with ASTM A193 bolts to fasten pressure tanks, valves, and flanges. Considered heavy hex nuts, they are about 10% wider and taller than standard hex nuts and distribute the load over a large area. Nuts may be mildly magnetic.

High-Strength Steel Nylon-Insert Locknuts—Grade 8

A nylon insert grips the bolt to resist loosening without damaging threads. These nuts are reusable, but their holding power lessens with each use. Made from Grade 8 steel, they're about 25% stronger than medium-strength steel locknuts.
Steel locknuts without a finish are ready to be painted or finished.
Black-oxide steel locknuts have a dark surface color and are mildly corrosion resistant in dry environments.

Medium-Strength Steel Threaded Rods—Grade B7

Grade B7, these threaded rods have a tensile strength about one and a half times stronger than low-strength steel rods. They meet the pressure and temperature requirements of ASTM A193 and are often used to secure pressure tanks, valves, and flanges.

Hoist Rings—For Lifting

Designed for angular lifting, hoist rings resist stresses that would bend or break an eyebolt. They have a lifting ring that pivots 180° front to back and a base that swivels 360° to compensate for pitch, roll, and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads. Install the base of the hoist ring flush to the mounting surface and tighten to the recommended torque that is stamped on the ring. Torque wrenches are sold separately.
Machined hoist rings have a smooth finish to protect slings and hooks from damage and excess wear during lifting.
Black-oxide steel hoist rings have mild corrosion resistance.
Hoist rings that are CE marked meet European safety standards.
Note: Capacities listed are for vertical lifting only. As the lift angle changes from vertical, the amount of weight the hoist ring can lift is significantly reduced. For example, when lifting a 1,000 lb. load at a 45° angle, you must choose a hoist ring with a capacity of at least 1,400 lbs. Do not use at an angle less than 30°.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
