    Stainless Steel Cheese Head Slotted Screws

    These slotted cheese head screws won't rust or corrode from moisture and chemicals. They have a narrow profile, so they sneak past flanges and raised surfaces without snagging. With only two contact points, the slotted drive can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them.

    The most corrosion-resistant slotted flat head screws we offer. Made of stainless steel, they won't rust or corrode when exposed to moisture or chemicals. With only two contact points, the slotted drive is the most basic drive style. The slot can't withstand much torque, so it's best to hand-tighten them instead of using power tools.

    Heat-Set Threaded Inserts for Plastic

    Profile

    Create a secure base for fasteners in plastic, including brittle 3D printed parts. Press these inserts into straight holes that have been drilled, printed, or molded into plastic. Then, heat them with a soldering tip to melt the surrounding material. As the plastic cools, it fuses to the sharp, diagonal ridges around the inserts, which prevents them from being twisted or pulled out. The interior is fully threaded, so you can access the threads from both sides of a through hole. Also known as Chevron and headed inserts.
    Brass—Conductive and nonmagnetic, these inserts are useful for electrical applications. They resist moisture but aren't as strong as steel inserts.

    The most commonly used hex nuts, these are suitable for fastening most machinery and equipment.
    Low-Strength Steel
