    Fiberglass High-Temperature Wire Sleeving

This sleeving withstands temperatures over 1000° F, such as in refineries. Made of fiberglass, it resists acids, alkalies, oil, and solvents so it won’t degrade when exposed to substances such as grease, ammonia, or harsh detergents. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.

    High-Temperature Expandable Wire Sleeving

Protect cable, hose, and pipe from abrasion and cuts in high temperature environments—this sleeving withstands temperatures over 450° F. It expands to fit over items for easy installation; sleeving then tightens around its contents for a secure fit. The braided construction permits heat and moisture to dissipate.
    Fiberglass Fabric
Image of Product. Front orientation. Wire Sleeving. High-Temperature Expandable Wire Sleeving.
Fiberglass fabric sleeving withstands continuous exposure to high temperatures better than all our other high-temperature sleeving materials. It resists burning and is often used near ovens and furnaces, or to protect exhaust pipes and tubes in mobile equipment. It also resists acids, alkalies, oil, and solvents.

High-Temperature Electrically Insulating Tube Wire Sleeving

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wire Sleeving. High-Temperature Electrically Insulating Tube Wire Sleeving.
This sleeving is often used to insulate connections in transformers, relays, and solenoids. It prevents electricity and heat from dissipating from wire and cable. When exposed to flame, it will self-extinguish and produce a nonconductive ash. It’s flame rated VW-1 to meet requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material. Made of silicone-coated fiberglass, it resists chemicals.

    Spark-Resistant Hook-and-Loop Wraparound Wire Sleeving

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wire Sleeving. Spark-Resistant Hook-and-Loop Wraparound Wire Sleeving.
A specially formulated silicone rubber coats this fiberglass sleeving to shed sparks, molten metal splash, hydraulic fuel, and lubricating oil. Wrap it around wire, cable, and hose without disconnecting them. It has a slit along the entire length and a strip of hook and loop that keeps it securely closed but allows you to maintain access along the length of the sleeving.

    Ultra-Chemical-Resistant High-Strength PTFE Pipe Gaskets

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Pipe Gaskets. Ultra-Chemical-Resistant High-Strength PTFE Pipe Gaskets.
Reinforced with fiberglass filler for strength, these PTFE gaskets won’t thin out when compressed. They resist hydrocarbons, solvents, refrigerants, and moderate concentrations of acids. Also known as ring gaskets, use them with raised-surface pipe flanges; they fit the surface inside the bolt holes and do not interfere with the bolt connection. All gaskets are compatible with low-pressure pipe flanges and are sized to meet ANSI standards.

A fiberglass filler in these PTFE gaskets provides strength to prevent them from thinning out when compressed. They resist hydrocarbons, solvents, refrigerants, and moderate concentrations of acids. Commonly called full-face gaskets, they cover the entire face of flat-surface pipe flanges and align with the bolt holes. All gasket specifications are sized to meet ANSI standards.

    High-Temperature Rope Seals

Image of Product. Front orientation. Rope Seals. High-Temperature Rope Seals.
A tighter braid makes these fiberglass seals more durable than High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Rope Seals. They’re flexible and will conform to uneven surfaces. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist bleach, solvents, and most acids (do not use with hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, and wet hydrogen chloride).

    Extra-Thick Spark-Resistant Tube Wire Sleeving

Image of Product. Front orientation. Wire Sleeving. Extra-Thick Spark-Resistant Tube Wire Sleeving.
Made from thicker and denser fiberglass than standard spark-resistant sleeving, this sleeving is more abrasion resistant and provides better insulation. The specially formulated silicone rubber coating sheds sparks, molten metal splash, hydraulic fuel, and lubricating oil. It also resists fraying. Exposure to a torch will char the coating, but will not scorch the fiberglass inner layer. It can withstand short-term flame exposure up to 2000° F, and is flame rated VW-1 to meet requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test of vertically suspended material. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.

    High-Temperature Flanged Rope Seals

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated, MultipleImages. Rope Seals. High-Temperature Flanged Rope Seals.
In addition to high temperatures, these seals have a fiberglass fabric cover and core that resists most refrigerants, salts, and grease. They’re flexible and compressible, and are often used as caulking and for filling expansion joints. The flange on these seals slides into a slot that is commonly found on oven, furnace, and boiler doors; it can be positioned to cover large gaps.
