High-Temperature FRP Fiberglass

- Color: Off-White
- Temperature Range: -50° F to 370° F
- Tensile Strength: 7,000-40,000 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: 4-30 ft.-lbs./in. (Excellent)
- Hardness: Rockwell M95 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
With more than twice the heat tolerance of standard FRP fiberglass, these sheets withstand temperatures up to 370° F. Constructed of fiberglass-reinforced polyester, they are strong and lightweight. Use them as an alternative to wood in structural applications.

Ultra-High-Temperature Arc-Resistant Garolite G-7 Sheets and Bars

- Color: Off-White
- Max. Temperature: 425° F
- Tensile Strength: 18,000-27,700 psi (Excellent)
- Impact Strength: 6.5-19.1 ft.-lbs./in. (Excellent)
- Hardness: Rockwell M65 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
- Specifications Met: MIL-I-24768/17, UL 94 V-0
Garolite G-7 withstands temperatures up to 425° F—higher than any other grade of Garolite. While not as strong as Garolite G-9 sheets, these sheets and bars offer better arc resistance in dry environments and a higher level of electrical insulation. They are constructed of a silicone resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-7 is sometimes called silicone-grade laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite. Use it to fabricate high-frequency telecommunication equipment, transformers, and other parts that require a high heat tolerance.

- Specifications Met: UL 94 V-0, MIL-I-24768/17
Choose these Garolite G-7 rods for their high heat tolerance—they withstand temperatures up to 425° F. While not as strong as Garolite G-9 rods, they offer better arc resistance in dry environments and a higher level of electrical insulation. These rods are constructed of a silicone resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-7 is sometimes called silicone-grade laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite. Use it to fabricate high-frequency telecommunication equipment and parts that require a high tolerance to heat.
Wet-and-Stick Fiberglass Fabric Sheets

Similar to plaster, these adhesive-impregnated sheets become moldable when water is added and harden as they dry. They can be used in sealing, insulating, and covering applications.
Heat-Deflecting Foil-Backed Fiberglass Fabric

Often used to create curtains and screens, this fabric has an aluminum foil backing that deflects radiant heat.
