Handle the three most common types of fire—those involving wood and paper, liquids and gases, and electrical equipment. The UL rating for Class A and B extinguishers includes a number; the higher the number, the greater the firefighting capability. Extinguishers have a safety pin to prevent accidental discharge. Please check local ordinances for inspection requirements (inspection tags sold separately).
Wet chemical (Halotron) extinguishers don’t leave a residue behind. Good for use around electrical equipment. They cannot be sold to Canada due to local chemical regulations.

Class A Fire Extinguishers

Douse fires from combustibles such as wood, paper, cloth, and rubber. Extinguisher comes empty. Fill it with water and pressurize using a compressed air or nitrogen source with a 100 psi capacity. It has a 5/16"-32 UNEF male Schrader fitting for pressurizing and a pressure gauge. Extinguisher has a safety pin to prevent accidental discharge. Self-Activating Fire Extinguishers
When flames start to rise, these fire extinguishers automatically put them out. They start spraying if the temperature hits 165° F. Mount them in enclosed spaces where fire is a concern, such as liquid storage rooms. These extinguishers can handle fires involving wood and paper, liquids and gases, and electrical equipment. They can activate once.
