Fire-Stop Putty

Pad

Stick

Hand-mold this putty into small openings in fire-resistant walls and floors.

Pads—Putty pads are often used to seal the area around electrical boxes. Mold them onto the sides of the box before installing it in a wall or floor.

Expandable—Often used to seal the area around PVC pipes or cables, it expands when heated to fill the gaps left if your equipment melts.

Flammability Rating—This putty is tested to ASTM and UL standards to stop the spread of smoke and flames.

Fire-Stop Electrical Box Inserts

Seal electrical boxes to maintain fire-resistant walls. These inserts mount inside electrical boxes to block the spread of smoke and flames. They fit common box sizes.

Use gaskets when cable or switches have already been installed. They sit just inside your cover plate.

Expandable—When heated, they expand to seal gaps, such as those left by melted wire.
