Hand-mold this putty into small openings in fire-resistant walls and floors. Often used to seal the area around PVC pipes or cables, it expands when heated to fill the gaps left if your equipment melts. It’s tested to ASTM and UL standards to stop the spread of smoke and flames.
Putty pads are often used to seal the area around electrical boxes. Mold them onto the sides of the box before installing it in a wall or floor.
