Position your workpieces at the correct angle prior to welding. These squares have an extra-wide head, so you can clamp them in place.
Joint Access Cutouts—Squares with joint access cutouts make it easier to reach joints, such as when welding and gluing.
Leveling Tabs—Leveling tabs are for aligning workpieces with one another.
Cast Iron—Cast iron squares are durable and difficult to dent or scratch. They resist weld spatter, but they’re more likely to corrode than aluminum.

    Fixture Columns

Clamp multiple parts or fixtures to these columns to speed up your machining process. Also known as tombstones, they have multiple faces for building dense, efficient setups. Each face is precision-machined for accurate positioning. Made from cast iron, these columns are rigid enough to limit vibration and stabilize your workpieces during machining.

Blank columns can be customized to fit your application. Machine them with your own holes, T-slots, or other mounting surfaces.
Square—Square columns have four equal faces for balanced machining on each side.
Rectangle—Rectangle columns have two wide faces for larger setups and two narrow faces for smaller ones. The narrow faces can also help reduce tool interference.
Cross—Cross columns have four equal faces, similar to square columns, but cutouts at each corner give you more tool clearance.

Grid columns have industry-standard hole patterns. The holes are lined with a precision bushing and a threaded insert to help locate fasteners, so you can clamp parts accurately and securely. Both are hardened to resist wear. These columns also come with a plastic chip plug for each hole—plug unused holes to keep debris from clogging them or causing damage.
Square—Square columns have four equal faces for balanced machining on each side.
Rectangle—Rectangle columns have two wide faces for larger setups and two narrow faces for smaller ones. The narrow faces can also help reduce tool interference.

    Parallels for Magnetic Workholding

Image of Product. Front orientation. Parallels. Parallels for Magnetic Workholding.
Use with magnetic workholding chucks and plates to extend their holding power above the working surface. These parallels are laminated with 1/16"-thin layers of iron and stainless steel for a strong, consistent hold. Compared to parallels made from aluminum or brass, these are harder and more dent resistant, so they hold their shape over time. Each layer is entirely fused together with copper brazing, so you can machine these parallels without the layers separating. Note: Parallels are not magnetic on their own.
Sold as Matched Pair—Manufactured and ground together to ensure they are parallel and square to each other with a tolerance of 0.0002".
4 Precision-Ground Sides—Precision ground on the top edge, bottom edge, and both faces.
