Flexible flaps reduce gouging while producing a uniform finish on flat and curved surfaces. They provide more control than a standard sanding sleeve but are more aggressive than a traditional flap wheel. As the flaps wear, new abrasive is exposed. Sleeves require a drum (sold separately).

Flap Sanding Sleeve Drums for Handheld Power Tools

Slide a flap sanding sleeve on the drum and twist the drum by hand to secure the sleeve. The shank on these drums installs directly into the collet of a grinder or the chuck on a hand-held drill. A drum is required to use a sanding sleeve.
