These lights are UL listed for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D for environments where ignitable concentrations of acetylene, hydrogen, ethylene, and propane occur infrequently, such as in the case of an accidental spill or failure of a ventilation system. They can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed. They require a metal halide bulb (sold separately). These floodlights cannot be sold to California due to local energy efficiency regulations.

Rated NEC Classes I, II, III, and Zone 0, they’re safe to use near ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gas, dust, or fibers. Intrinsically safe, they’re designed not to create enough heat or sparks to trigger an explosion.
They’re durable enough to fall from 6 ft. and still work. The polycarbonate lens resists impact, and the sturdy steel body has rubber cushioning on the edges. Rated IP67, they’re completely dust tight and can be submerged in water and still work. They’re also tested against ANSI/PLATO FL 1 standards to confirm the accuracy of performance attributes such as beam distance, impact resistance, and battery life.
Set these cordless lights up on the included tripod or mount them using the hook on the back or the magnet on the base. You can set these lights up quickly and move them elsewhere at a moment’s notice. The hook makes it easy to carry them around your jobsite and the carrying case fits both the light and the tripod.

Rated NEC Class I, II, III, and Zone 0, they’re safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, dust, and fibers. They’re often used in refineries, mines, and paint booths. Pivot their head up and down to direct light where you need it most. These lights are rechargeable, compact, and include a carrying case for easy transport to jobsites without power.
They’re durable enough to fall from 6 ft. and still work. The edges of the metal body are cushioned with rubber, and the lens is impact-resistant polycarbonate. Rated IP67, they are sealed against dust and water. You can drop them in water, and they’ll keep working. These lights are tested against ANSI/PLATO FL 1 standards to confirm the accuracy of performance attributes such as beam distance, impact resistance, and battery life.
Mount them using the extendable swivel hook on the back or the magnet in the base. The hook also functions as a carrying handle. Add a tripod if there’s nowhere to mount the light and you need to position it higher than on the ground.

Explosion-Proof Freestanding Portable Floodlights
Safely light up large spaces where combustible gases and dust are normally present. Rated NEC Class I and II, these lights have a housing that contains any sparks or flames and seals out ignitable gases, vapors, and dust. They’re rated T5, an NEC hazardous location temperature classification. This means their surface temperature stays below 212° F to prevent them from reacting with nearby flammable substances. Made of lightweight, durable aluminum with a tempered glass lens, they withstand bumps and rough handling. They’re often used in chemical processing, refineries, and paint spray booths.
Unless noted, the plug and power supply on these lights are outdoor rated but are not explosion-proof rated. Electrical connections must be made outside the hazardous environment.
Style A can withstand extreme weather and washdowns. Rated NEMA 6P, you can plunge them 6 ft. underwater for 24 hrs. and they’ll still work. They’re easy to move around since they weigh just 10 lbs. Rubber bumpers prevent damage if they’re bumped or dropped. Those with an explosion-proof power supply have a sealed enclosure, so you can make safe electrical connections within the hazardous environment. Their power supply and plug are explosion-proof rated.
Style B are rated NEC Class III for use in areas with ignitable concentration of combustible fibers and other particles. Rated IP67, they’re dust tight and you can plunge them in 3 ft. of water for 30 mins. and they’ll still work. They won’t spark if dropped and they resist corrosion from salt water and damp conditions.

Explosion-Proof Dock Lights

Safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, liquids, and dust, these lights are rated NEC Class I, II, and III. Their housing contains fire and sparks, so they won’t ignite what’s in your environment. They’re rated T4A, an NEC hazardous location temperature classification. This means their surface temperature stays below 248° F to prevent them from reacting with nearby flammable substances. These lights swing out from the wall, and their head tilts and swivels to illuminate loading docks and trailers. UL marine listed and NEMA 4X rated, they stand up to salt water and other corrosive liquids, and they’re sealed to withstand washdowns.
Their lens is tempered glass, so it resists scratches and impact during loading and unloading. Since the lens is clear, the lights give focused illumination that is useful for tasks and spot lighting. The LEDs emit a cool light that highlights white and blue tones and has a brighter appearance than neutral light.

For instance, they’ve been confirmed to still work if dropped from 6 feet.
Style A and B light up your footsteps with a second LED beneath the head that aims a flood beam downward. This LED can double as a task light—just tilt the head up to 90° and stand these flashlights on their end.
Style C are our brightest and most versatile option. For use as a task light, set them on their flat bottom or back. You can also hang them up on their hooks. Carry them around hands-free with the included strap. Those with a magnetic mount can be mounted to a wall or beam. The head still pivots 180° to adjust the direction of the light when they’re mounted with the magnet.
Flashlights with a spot beam have a bright center for long-distance illumination. Flashlights with a flood beam cast a uniform spread of light that’s good for close-up tasks and inspection work.

IP67, IP07 and IP08 rated flashlights will still work after being temporarily submerged in water. IP67 rated lights are also sealed against dust.
Styles A-H are intrinsically safe. They cannot cause an explosion, so they're a better choice where hazardous material is present in normal operating conditions.

Small enough to fit in your shirt pocket, these penlights safely light up work in explosion-prone areas. They’re intrinsically safe, meaning they cannot ignite an explosion. They’re also rated for areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, and liquids. Ideal for close-up tasks and inspection work, their flood beam creates an even spread of light. Use the momentary light setting when you need light for brief periods—the light only turns on when you hold down the button. All have a nonslip grip so you don’t drop them.
These penlights have been tested against ANSI/PLATO FL 1 standards to confirm the accuracy of performance attributes such as beam distance, impact resistance, and battery life.
IP04-rated penlights are sealed to keep out dripping, splashing, and falling liquids, as well as humidity.
