    Smooth

Add threads to thin panels while keeping a flush surface. The angled head on these nuts sits evenly within your panel so nothing catches or juts out. They're ideal when space is tight around fasteners in machinery and equipment, or when appearance matters.
Install these nuts in a drilled or punched countersunk round hole using a rivet nut tool. Choose an air- or battery-powered tool for fast installation or to easily switch between many different nut sizes. Length is measured from under the flange.
Zinc-Yellow-Chromate-Plated Steel and Zinc-Plated Steel—A step up from plain steel, the plating withstands occasional exposure to moisture.

    Ribbed

Add threads that won't shift in sheet metal and thin panels while keeping a flush surface. The angled head on these nuts sits evenly with your panel so nothing catches or juts out. The ribbed body digs into material so nuts won't spin out when tightening or loosening screws. They're ideal when space is tight around fasteners or equipment needs frequent maintenance or disassembly, or when appearance matters.
Install these nuts in a drilled or punched countersunk round hole using a rivet nut tool. Choose an air- or battery-powered tool for fast installation or to easily switch between many different nut sizes. Length is measured from under the flange.
