Sanitary Washdown Cord Grips
Securely connect cable in sanitary environments such as food plants with these watertight cord grips. IP68 and IP69 ratings mean they can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, and stand up to high-temperature, high-pressure washdowns, so they will shield cable from both clean-out-of-place (COP) soaking and clean-in-place (CIP) washdowns.
With no exposed threads and a smooth finish, these grips are easy to wash and are free of space where bacteria could grow, reducing the chance of foodborne illnesses. A rubber bushing seals the connection to the cord, and a rubber seal blocks water and contaminants from entering your enclosure. In case they fall into your line, both the bushing and seal are FDA compliant for direct contact with food. They are also blue, so you can easily spot them. The rest of these cord grips are made of stainless steel, which won’t corrode when washed with harsh cleaners.
Use them indoors or out, they're also NEMA rated to protect against dirt, oil, water, and coolant. All meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards.

Food Industry Wraparound Multi-Cord Grips
FDA compliant for direct food contact, these cord grips have a multi-piece design to wrap around cables in sanitary environments without removing connectors or rewiring. They’re rated IP66 as protective against dust and washdowns.
Choose a housing and then select inserts (sold separately). Made of stainless steel, housings resist chemicals and corrosion. Inserts are made of TPE rubber, which combines the flexibility and resilience of rubber and plastic, so they’ll maintain their shape when wrapped around your cords.
Inserts for 1 cord have a slit that eliminates the need to thread cable through them.
Use inserts for 0 cords to block off unused openings in the housing.

Sanitary Sealing Grommets
Create a sanitary seal on through-wall piping, tubing, and cables in food-, cosmetic-, and pharmaceutical-processing areas. Made of silicone, these grommets have a wide temperature range, resist washdown chemicals and cleaners, and are FDA compliant for direct contact with food. They’re also flexible, so hydraulic pressure surges, pipe expansion, and cord flexing won’t break their seal or damage them. No caulk or sealant is needed to install these grommets because their ridges form a strong seal that keeps out dust, debris, and moisture. The ridges also act as guidelines for trimming the center of these grommets to size; they’re sized to standard tube diameters.
To mount the flanges of these grommets, use their drilled holes. Flanges are 316 stainless steel to resist corrosion from washdowns with harsh cleaners and sanitizers.
Style 1 grommets work on tubing that isn’t installed yet.
Style 2 grommets have a split design to wrap over tubing that’s already in place. For a secure seal, crimp the included metal staples over the seal using pliers.
Style 3 grommets are flat, so they’re best for tight spaces.
