Create a temporary ice plug in your pipe to make repairs without draining the line. Often used with sprinkler systems, these kits freeze the standing liquid in your line, eliminating the need to refill or reheat and preventing air-lock problems. Use them with pipes that run water or other fluid with a similar freezing point.

Wrap the included jacket around your pipe at an upstream location near the point of repair and inject CO2 (not included) into the jacket. After use, the CO2 evaporates and the ice plug melts, minimizing clean up.
