Disposable Clean Room Coats
Wear once then toss—these disposable coats prevent dust, microbes, and other pollutants from contaminating your clean room space. Cleaned and individually bagged in a clean room, they won’t shed any lint or dust. These coats are Tyvek polyethylene, which is made with heat- and pressure-bonded fibers that make for a soft yet tear-resistant coat. They hold up to limited contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray.

Clean Room Coats
Create a barrier between you and your clean room. These coats keep dust, microbes, and other pollutants that might be on your body from contaminating the area. Reusable when washed according to clean room standards, they’ll last up to 100 washes. Make sure to wash them before your first wear. They are suitable for use in clean rooms rated to both Federal Standard and ISO classes. In both systems, clean rooms with lower class ratings have fewer contaminants. Coats are knee length.

Polypropylene offers economical protection in environments where liquid splashes and abrasion resistance are not a concern.
Tyvek polyethylene provides better tear and abrasion resistance than polypropylene. It holds up to occasional contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray. It is made of heat- and pressure-bonded fibers for a material that’s soft yet strong.
Kleenguard polypropylene is made of five layers of nonwoven fabric, so it is more abrasion resistant and harder to tear than polypropylene and Tyvek polyethylene. It holds up to occasional contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray. The material is antistatic, so it protects sensitive equipment from electrostatic discharge.
Comformax/polyester blend is a specially treated wood pulp and fabric blend material that repels liquids, including blood and other bodily fluids. It has good tear resistance and offers some breathability.
