    Plastic Funnels for Harsh Chemicals

    Style B

Transfer acids, solvents, and other harsh substances with these funnels—they’re more chemical resistant than standard plastic funnels. Unlike glass or porcelain funnels, they won’t chip or shatter. A nonstick finish keeps material from clinging to the sides, so you can transfer every last bit.

    Porcelain

Separate solids and liquids. Also known as Buchner funnels, these funnels have a built-in perforated plate—use it by itself or to hold filter paper. Since the plate is built in, all solid material is collected on top while liquid filters through uncontaminated.
To speed up the filtration process, use these funnels with a vacuum flask. Place them into the flask’s stopper for an airtight seal.
Porcelain—Porcelain funnels handle temperatures more than two times higher than glass funnels and are less likely to chip or break. They withstand most chemicals, but their glaze can be damaged by highly corrosive ones, such as hydrofluoric acid.
