    Airflow Dampers

The simplest, most reliable way to regulate airflow in standard duct. Turn the lever to adjust the blade.
Gasketed Airflow Damper—The blade has a rubber gasket to prevent leaks better than other dampers.
Blade Airflow Damper—The most economical choice, these dampers slide into the end of duct. Drill a hole for the damper's bolt and remove the handle. Place the damper inside duct, insert the bolt through the hole, and reattach the handle.
Galvanized Steel—Strong and corrosion resistant, galvanized steel is the most commonly used ductwork material.

    Tight-Seal Spiral Duct and Fittings

Image of System. Front orientation. Contains MultipleImages. Duct and Fittings. Tight-Seal Spiral Duct and Fittings.
Gasketed fittings prevent leaks between connections without the need for tape or other sealants. Duct has a continuous seam that reinforces it for strength and long life. The rigid construction keeps its shape, even against suction from dust collectors. Duct is smooth on the inside for efficient airflow. Because of its attractive look, spiral duct is often used for exposed heating and cooling systems.
    Straight Collars with Airflow Damper
Image of Product. Front orientation. Duct and Fittings. Tight-Seal Spiral Duct and Fittings, Straight Collars with Airflow Damper.
Add a branch of round duct from rectangular systems and control airflow with the damper. Cut a hole, install the collar, and connect a piece of tight-seal spiral round duct.
Galvanized Steel—Corrosion resistant and affordable, galvanized steel is the most commonly used ductwork material.
Polyethylene Foam Gasket—The flange has an adhesive-backed gasket to bond the connection until you fasten with screws. The gasket also prevents leaks.

    Duct Fire Dampers

In case of a fire, these dampers shut automatically to stop airflow. They have a fusible link that melts at 165° F, releasing a spring to close the blade. Dampers meet UL 555 fire safety standards to help prevent the spread of fire for 11/2 hours. They are undersized to fit inside duct.
