Garden Hose Thread Taps

Tap the unique size needed for garden hose thread (GHT) connections. Made of high-speed steel, these taps are for use on most metal and plastic. They have a square shank for compatibility with tap wrenches and tap holders for drill presses and milling machines. All have a bottoming chamfer with 1-2 chamfered cutting threads, so they're suitable for threading close to the bottom of closed-end holes.

Threaded Flow-Adjustment Valves with Garden Hose Outlet

These valves have an NPT inlet and a GHT outlet for attaching garden hose. They gradually open and close with multiple turns of the wheel handle to adjust and regulate flow. All have a nonrising stem that stays in the same position whether the valve is open or closed.

Lockouts (sold separately) thread over the valve outlet and lock in place with a padlock (not included) to prevent unauthorized water use.

Convert one faucet into two, four, or five convenient outlets. Each outlet has individually operated shutoff valves.

Plastic valves are lighter than brass or zinc valves, and are durable enough to hold up to impacts and abrasion. They have good corrosion resistance.

Zinc valves have good corrosion resistance. Some also have a TPR rubber or plastic coating to protect your hands—the coating keeps valves from getting hot in the sun or cold in the winter.

Brass valves are softer than zinc and plastic, so they’re easier to thread together. They’re also corrosion resistant.

Valves with flexible outlets are easy to install and help keep your hose from kinking.
