Ultra-High-Temperature Arc-Resistant Garolite G-7 Sheets and Bars

Garolite G-7 withstands temperatures up to 425° F—higher than any other grade of Garolite. While not as strong as Garolite G-9 sheets, these sheets and bars offer better arc resistance in dry environments and a higher level of electrical insulation. They are constructed of a silicone resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-7 is sometimes called silicone-grade laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite. Use it to fabricate high-frequency telecommunication equipment, transformers, and other parts that require a high heat tolerance.

In addition to having good arc resistance in dry environments, these Garolite G-9 sheets are strong and electrically insulating. Garolite G-9 is frequently called electrical-grade Garolite, melamine-grade industrial laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite. It's made of a melamine resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Use it to fabricate arc barriers, switchboard panels, and other electrical components.

Arc-Resistant GPO3 Fiberglass Sheets and Strips

Often used for electrical applications in humid environments, these GPO3 fiberglass sheets and strips are arc and track resistant. They offer better electrical insulation properties than FRP fiberglass. Made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester, they're also called polyester-grade industrial laminate.

Arc-Resistant Garolite G-9 Angles

Machine these angles into arc barriers, switch mounts, and components for circuit breakers and electrical equipment. They resist carrying electric currents in dry or humid areas, even when exposed to sudden electric discharge. Strong, they’re also good for making terminal boards and other structural parts. They won’t crack if hit, and they resist breaking while carrying heavy loads. Meets UL 94 V-0 for flame retardance.

Garolite G-9 is also known as electrical-grade Garolite, melamine-grade industrial laminate, phenolic, and Bakelite.
