    Gas Cylinder Lockouts

    Prohibit access to the main valve on a gas cylinder. These lockouts secure with a padlock and lockout tag. They help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, which requires handles on pneumatic and hydraulic systems to be locked out during maintenance to prevent injuries.

    Plastic lockouts are more corrosion resistant and lighter in weight than steel lockouts. However, they aren’t as strong. These lockouts have a warning label to alert passersby.
    Style A—Style A are for forklift gas cylinder handwheels. With holes for up to three padlocks, each person can add their own as they start a job. Each padlock adds another layer of security, and until the last is removed, these lockouts won’t open. Made of 100% recycled materials, they meet UL 2809-2 purchasing requirements for LEED-certified facilities.
    Style B—Style B have an adjustable closure to fit a wide variety of gas cylinders. The lid features two overlapping pieces that slide together to fit multiple different gas cylinder neck diameters and cap threads.

    Steel lockouts are stronger than plastic lockouts. They’re also powder coated for corrosion resistance.
    Style C—Style C fit most high- and low-pressure gas cylinders, including D.O.T. cylinders. When you need to use your cylinder, you can leave these lockouts on—the cover swings up and out of the way when they’re unlocked. To lock out again, snap the cover back on.

    No-Spill Caps

    Even if beakers, bottles, and flasks are tipped upside down, liquids stay sealed inside. Tug on the tabs to stretch these caps over openings. Not only are they safer and more secure than foil or film covers, they can be used again and again. Autoclave to sterilize, or just toss in the dishwasher.
    High-Temperature Silicone Rubber—These caps withstand temperatures up to 350° F as well as exposure to chemicals such as acetone and isopropyl alcohol.
