Early-Warning Surface-Mount Hydrogen Detectors

This detector triggers a “caution” alert when a small amount of hydrogen is detected and a second “danger” alert if levels continue to rise. When hydrogen concentration reaches 1% by volume, a yellow warning light illuminates and the first relay closes to trigger a remote exhaust fan and/or alarm. When hydrogen reaches 2%, a red warning light illuminates, an alarm sounds, and the second relay closes to activate another remote exhaust fan and/or alarm.
Use the optional remote and cable to keep an eye on the detector’s alert status from a distance. Remote has a buzzer and the same yellow and red warning lights as the detector.

Environmental-Monitoring Modules for Development Boards
Keep equipment running and working conditions safe—these modules add air quality tracker capabilities to your development board. Each module gathers data on air conditions, ranging from temperature and humidity to carbon dioxide or volatile organic compound (VOC) levels. These modules easily connect to boards and other components with Qwiic cords or by soldering.
Modules with an air quality sensor identify spikes in VOC levels to track air quality changes. Instead of directly measuring VOCs, they measure how much the VOC level has changed in the last 24 hours.
Modules with a temperature, humidity, and air quality sensor help you make sure the air is healthy in your facility. They directly measure the amount of carbon dioxide in the air.
Modules with a temperature, humidity, air quality, and barometer sensor give you the most comprehensive picture of air conditions in your facility. They directly measure the amount of VOCs and give you an estimated measurement of carbon dioxide based on VOC levels. They monitor air quality using Germany’s Air Quality Index (AQI).

Fixed-Setpoint High-Pressure Flow Switches
Quicker to install than adjustable flow switches in high-pressure lines, these switches come factory-set to activate or deactivate equipment at a specific level. They compensate for the viscosity and density changes of liquid. As flowing liquid pushes an internal piston, the switch reads the piston's position to measure the flow. When the piston passes the set point, the switch actuates. All measure flow correctly no matter their mounting orientation.
These switches are calibrated with water. They can also be used with other liquids by applying your liquid’s specific-gravity conversion factor to calculate the new setpoint.
SPDT (single pole, double throw) switches can either turn one device from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed).

High-Pressure Flow Switches for Gases

Good for compressed-air systems and other compressed gases that reach up to 3,600 psi, these switches measure the flow rate to activate or deactivate equipment when they reach a set point. Tighten or loosen the adjustment screw to choose your flow rate anywhere within the set point range. As flowing gas pushes an internal piston, the switch reads the position of the piston to measure the flow. When the piston passes the set point, the switch actuates. These switches are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can turn one device from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). They must be mounted horizontally to function correctly. IP rated, they seal out dust and can be lightly rinsed.
These switches are calibrated with and measure air accurately. They can also be used with other gases by applying your gases’ specific-gravity conversion factor to calculate the new set point.

Fixed-Setpoint Hazardous Location Flow Switches

Safe to use where flammable gases and combustible dust may be present, these switches activate or deactivate when your flow reaches a factory-set level. All are UL listed for hazardous environments. Because their set point is fixed, they’re ready to go, making them easy to install. They actuate when your flowing liquid or gas pushes their paddle into a set position. These switches are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can turn one device from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). They must be mounted horizontally to function accurately.
These switches are calibrated with water and air. They can also be used with other liquids and gases but may not measure accurately if their viscosity is significantly different.

Use the adjustment screw to select their set point. They actuate when your flowing liquid or gas pushes their paddle into a certain position determined by the set point. All are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can either turn one device from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed). Mount them horizontally. Rated NEMA 4, they also protect against weather and washdowns.
These flow switches are calibrated with water and air. You can use them with other liquids and gases, but they may not measure accurately if the viscosity is different from water or air.

Sanitary Electronic Insertion Flow Switches
Easy to clean and install, these flow switches are 3-A certified to meet sanitary design standards and insert into your line with a quick-clamp mounting adapter (sold separately). They have a smooth probe, and unlike flow switches that measure with a paddle or turbine, these don’t have moving parts for contaminants to get stuck in. Rated IP67 and IP69K, they withstand temporary submersion and high-temperature, high-pressure washdowns. The mounting adapter attaches to a quick-clamp tube tee or outlet (often called tri-clamp fittings) in your large-diameter tubing system using a gasket and clamp (not included), so you don't need to disassemble your line for inline installation. This mounting adapter is also easy to remove and clean.

Hazardous Location Insertion Flow Switches

Safely activate and deactivate equipment in environments with flammable gases and combustible dust when your flow rate reaches a set point. They are UL listed and CSA certified for use in hazardous locations. These switches save you from disassembling your pipeline because you insert them into pipe tees or pipe outlets instead of mounting them inline. They actuate when your system’s liquid pushes the paddle into a set position. To change your set point, the paddle has multiple layers that you can remove. For the lowest set point, use the largest paddle that will fit your pipe. To increase your set point, loosen the locking washers and remove paddles. You can trim the paddles to fine-tune your set point. The smaller the paddle, the higher the setpoint.
They should be mounted vertically into a horizontal pipeline, so liquid pushes the paddle.
