These gas springs have a bleed valve so you can release gas to permanently reduce the force to meet your requirements. They come charged to their maximum force. Use the included tool to open the valve and bleed off the gas—there's no disassembly required. Release gas in very small increments and then test your application. Once gas is released, the force is permanently reduced. Gas springs have an eyelet end fitting on each end; requires an eyelet mounting bracket (sold separately) for mounting.
