EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets for Data Connectors
Fit these gaskets over connectors that plug in to your enclosure to absorb interference and prevent signal problems. They block electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), which cause flickering displays and inaccurate readings.
Silicone gaskets are good for high temperature and wet environments because they seal out moisture. Most are sized to fit specific mil. spec. connector shell sizes.
Interference reduction at frequency, also known as attenuation, describes how much EMI and RFI is blocked. These gaskets block most interference; use them for general purpose shielding as well as protecting sensitive or precision components.

Water- and Weather-Resistant Hollow Foam Rubber Surface-Mount Seals
These EPDM foam rubber seals have hollow construction for more compressibility than solid seals. They resist water, sunlight, and ozone. They’re softer and more flexible than EPDM rubber seals and will effortlessly conform to uneven surfaces to shield against dust, noise, and vibration. The foam has closed-cell construction, which resists absorption.
Seals with an acrylic adhesive backing are good for light duty applications where they won’t be jostled or hit frequently. The adhesive has some resistance to water and chemicals.
Seals with a 3M acrylic adhesive backing are more resistant to peeling and shearing than seals with an acrylic adhesive backing. Use them when you need extra sticking strength to resist repeated impact, such as on a door or door frame. They create a permanent moisture barrier and airtight seal between the seal and the surface it’s stuck to, but only if you let the bond cure for 72 hours.

Water- and Weather-Resistant Hollow Rubber Surface-Mount Seals
Hollow construction makes these seals more compressible than solid rubber seals. Made of EPDM rubber, they resist water, sunlight, ozone, and salts. They are firmer and more durable than EPDM foam rubber. Attach them directly to a door’s surface to shield against dust, noise, and vibration.

Push-On Seals with Glass Locking Slot
Seal stationary windows into place with these EPDM seals. To install, lubricate the seal with soap and water, then push the bottom of the seal around the edge of the window opening. Insert glass into the top opening of the seal and press the attached insert into the seal to lock the glass in place. EPDM resists water, sunlight, and ozone.

Water- and Weather-Resistant Hollow Rubber Flange-Mount Seals
Firmer and more durable than EPDM foam rubber seals, these seals are made of EPDM rubber. They resist water, sunlight, ozone, and salts. They have hollow construction for compressibility and a flange that can be positioned along a door’s edge to cover gaps and block dust, noise, and vibration.

High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Rope Edge Seals
These loosely knitted fiberglass seals are more flexible, compressible, and conformable than High-Temperature Rope Edge Seals. The looser construction also makes them more likely to absorb liquids. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist bleach, solvents, and most acids (do not use with hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, and wet hydrogen chloride).
Square-Profile Ultra High-Temperature Rope Edge Seals
The flat edges on these square-profile seals provide more sealing surface than round-profile seals. They’re made of 98% silica for excellent temperature resistance. They’re flexible and will conform to uneven surfaces. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist water, salts, and diluted acids.
Multipurpose Neoprene Foam Sheets and Strips
In addition to having good resistance to water, sunlight, and oxidation, these neoprene foam sheets and strips resist swelling when they come into contact with oil.
Closed-cell foam restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed.

Fabric-Reinforced High-Temperature Silicone Foam Strips
One layer of fiberglass fabric is sandwiched between layers of silicone foam giving these strips strength to handle high-stress applications, such as gasketing. Silicone will maintain its flexibility across a wide range of temperatures. This foam has closed-cell construction, which restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed. These strips have a crisscross texture that provides a nonslip gripping surface.

Smooth-Top Thresholds
Easy to mop and wipe down, these smooth-top thresholds don't have ridges or grooves that can trap water and dirt. They're often used to transition between different flooring surfaces and reduce the gap between a door and the floor. Because they’re smooth, they provide less traction than ribbed-top thresholds. Cut them with a hacksaw for a precise fit.
Aluminum thresholds are lightweight yet durable. They won’t corrode from the weather, so they can be installed in exterior doorways. They’re easier to cut than stainless steel thresholds.
