Gasket Tape for Pipe Flanges
Because this expanded PTFE tape is thicker than other gasket tape, it fills the irregularities on rough-surfaced flanges when compressed for a tight seal. This gasket tape is chemically inert, except to molten alkali metal and elemental fluorine.
Gasket tape that is FDA Compliant 21 CFR 177.1550 is for use with food and beverage.

EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets
These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. They compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.
Sheets work well between two flat surfaces.
Half-round gaskets work well in grooves. Use a gasket slightly thicker than the depth of the groove; it will compress to fill the gap.
Adhesive-back gaskets are wrapped with conductive aluminum foil and stick on with a conductive adhesive. Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with either a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric or conductive aluminum foil. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.
Gaskets that meet UL 94 V-0 self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping.

High-Temperature Foam Rubber Surface-Mount Seals
Made of solid silicone foam rubber, these seals will stand up to hot environments, plus they resist water and salts. They are softer and more flexible than silicone rubber and will effortlessly conform to uneven surfaces to shield against dust, noise, and vibration. The foam has closed-cell construction, which resists absorption.

High-Temperature Hollow Rubber Flange-Mount Seals
Hollow construction makes these silicone rubber seals more compressible than solid seals. They resist heat, water, and salts. They’re firmer and more durable than silicone foam rubber. These seals have a flange that can be positioned along a door’s edge to cover gaps and block dust, noise, and vibration.

High-Temperature Rope Edge Seals
A tighter braid makes these fiberglass seals more durable than High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Rope Edge Seals. They’re flexible and will conform to uneven surfaces. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist bleach, solvents, and most acids (do not use with hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, and wet hydrogen chloride).
High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Rope Edge Seals
These loosely knitted fiberglass seals are more flexible, compressible, and conformable than High-Temperature Rope Edge Seals. The looser construction also makes them more likely to absorb liquids. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist bleach, solvents, and most acids (do not use with hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, and wet hydrogen chloride).
Multipurpose Neoprene Foam Sheets and Strips
In addition to having good resistance to water, sunlight, and oxidation, these neoprene foam sheets and strips resist swelling when they come into contact with oil.
Closed-cell foam restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed.

Weather-Resistant High-Temperature Silicone Foam Strips
Even after exposure to sunlight, rain, and snow, these silicone foam strips remain flexible. Silicone will maintain its flexibility across a wide range of temperatures. This foam has closed-cell construction, which restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed. Strips have a crisscross texture that provides a nonslip gripping surface.

Hard Chemical-Resistant Packing Seals
These seals are made of PTFE fiber without a lubricant, so they’re harder than other chemical-resistant packing seals to handle high-pressure valve applications. Use them with acids, alkalies, brines, and solvents. Cut these seals to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
High-Flexibility Steam-Resistant Packing Seals
Offering excellent flexibility for steam applications in pumps and valves, these seals are made of expanded graphite yarn. Cut them to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Wire-Reinforced Steam-Resistant Packing Seals
The Inconel-wire reinforcement in these expanded-graphite yarn seals ensures they keep their shape longer than the High-Flexibility Steam-Resistant Packing Seals. Use them for steam applications in valves. Cut these seals to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Steam-Resistant Packing Seals
Use these graphite-impregnated graphite seals for steam applications in pumps and valves. Cut them to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
High-Speed Steam-Resistant Packing Seals
Made of graphite-impregnated carbon, these steam-resistant seals dissipate heat from the shaft to protect pumps and valves when operating at high speeds. Cut them to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Ultra-Sealable Oil- and Water-Resistant Packing Seals
Our most compressible packing seals, these require less pressure than any other to make an effective seal. They’re made of lubricated PTFE-impregnated aramid fiber and are for use in pumps. Cut these seals to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Oil- and Water-Resistant Packing Seals
Made of PTFE-impregnated synthetic fiber, these seals are for use in pumps. They're lubricated to prevent overheating. Cut these seals to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Heat-Shielding Oil- and Water-Resistant Packing Seals
Synthetic yarn that’s comparable in strength to aramid is combined with graphite for soft seals that dissipate heat away from the shaft to extend the life of pumps. Cut these seals to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Abrasion-, Oil-, and Water-Resistant Packing Seals
The most abrasion resistant of all our packing seals, these are made of PTFE-impregnated aramid fiber that has been saturated in a lubricant. They are for use in pumps. Cut these seals to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Low-Friction Oil- and Water-Resistant Packing Seals
Since they require lighter packing pressure than standard oil- and water-resistant packing seals, these seals cause less friction and reduce shaft wear. They are for use in pumps and valves. Cut them to size with a knife; then pack them into place.
Aramid fiber seals resist wear and abrasion better than acrylic fiber seals, so they last longer.
