    Face-Grip Gear and Bearing Pullers

    Install and remove bearings, pulleys, sprockets, and other press-fit parts with tapered holes. Face-grip pullers can be used with Bearing Separators and V-Belt Pulley Separators (not included). Select a separator with a thread size that matches the leg thread size of your face-grip puller.
    Legs and replacement legs (both sold separately) come in pairs. Choose from the legs to change the reach of your face-grip puller.

    Quick-Hold External-Grip Gear and Bearing Pullers

    Jaws stay aligned, so you can secure bearings and pulleys quickly. Use these pullers to grip bearings, gears, and wheels from the outside edge to pull them off a shaft.

    Pullers with two jaws have a flatter profile than pullers with more jaws, so they can fit in tighter spaces.
    Spring-Loaded Control—Pullers with spring-loaded jaws automatically center their jaws and move in unison, allowing for quick one-handed use. This also prevents the misalignment that can occur with self-locking jaws. Spring tension holds the jaws against the object being pulled.
    Weight Capacity—Weight capacity is dependent on the material and thread size of the forcing screw. It should be used as a guide. If you can grip and reach an object, your puller will normally have enough power to pull it. When in doubt, choose the next larger puller size.

    Pullers with three jaws are more stable and distribute their pulling force more evenly than pullers with two jaws. Use them when space allows.

    Separate bearings, collars, hubs, and other shaft-mounted items so you can remove them. After separation, use a puller (not included) to remove them from the shaft.
    Separators can be used with Face-Grip Gear and Bearing Pullers. Select a face-grip gear and bearing puller with a leg thread size that matches the thread size of your separator.
    Clamping Screw—Separators with a clamping screw use screw tension to force separator plates under bearings when there isn’t enough space for them to fit.

    Quick-Hold Reversible-Jaw External/Internal-Grip Gear and Bearing Pullers

    With reversible jaws that stay aligned, these pullers can quickly grip objects from the outside or inside. They’re often used to pull bearings and pulleys. To grip objects on the outside, attach the jaws with tips facing in. To grip objects from inside, attach the jaws with tips facing out.

    Combination 2/3-jaw pullers have mounting holes in both a two-jaw and three-jaw configuration, so you can attach the jaws either way. Lift up the base to add or remove jaws.
    Spring-Loaded Control—Pullers with spring-loaded jaws lock in place for quick one-hand operation. Spring tension holds the jaws against the object being pulled, so you can tighten the locking nut.
