    Honing Stones

Control the pressure you apply to surfaces with a turn of the adjustment knob to achieve your desired finish. These hones have spring-loaded arms that push the abrasive stones against cylinder walls. Rigid stones repair cylinders that are out-of-round, tapered, or otherwise misshaped. Use with portable drills, moving the hone up and down to leave a cross-hatch pattern that retains lubricant. The shank flexes to reach around curves or into spaces where you can’t keep the drill parallel to the cylinder. We recommend using hones with honing oil to keep the abrasive free of debris.
