Gloves with a rayon backing are an economical choice with good radiant heat and moderate spark protection. Gloves with a deerskin leather inner layer give you more dexterity than those without.
Gloves that meet EN 388 adhere to European standards for resistance to abrasive surfaces, tears, cuts, and punctures. This rating is similar to ANSI/ISEA 105.
Gloves that meet EN 407 are rated according to a European standard for resistance to heat, flames, and droplets of molten metal.
Gloves that cannot be sold to Canada are restricted by import regulations.
