Threaded On/Off Valves for Cryogenic Liquids

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Liquid Argon, Liquid Carbon Dioxide, Liquid Nitrogen
- Seal Material: Graphite
- Specifications Met: American Petroleum Institute Standard 607 - Edition 7
Use these valves in cryogenic systems to control the flow of liquid nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and argon. They have PCTFE seats that maintain a tight seal at temperatures as low as -400° F. A vented ball relieves pressure build-up from frequent temperature fluctuations during use. These valves have an extra-long stem filled with graphite packing to prevent heat transfer and leaks. The stem is long enough to fit through thick insulation in your setup. It keeps the handle at a comfortable temperature and your hands away from hazards, so you can start and stop flow in hard-to-reach areas. Their lockable handle can be fixed in place using a padlock (not included). To maintain performance and safety, these valves are shipped cleaned and bagged to avoid contamination. All are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
Fire-tested to meet American Petroleum Institute (API) 607, these valves securely isolate flammable gases such as methane and hydrogen to prevent the spread of fire.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

High-Temperature Threaded Precision Flow-Adjustment Valves

- Valve Type: Needle
- For Use With: Water, Oil, Air, Steam
Rated for nearly twice the maximum temperature of standard threaded precision flow-adjustment valves, these can handle up to 700° F. Turn the handle to adjust flow in small increments for metering, sampling, and other applications requiring fine flow control. Body is 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. Valves have metal-to-metal seats that resist temperature fluctuations. All have a nut that can be tightened to compress the packing if it leaks.

High-Pressure Threaded Precision Flow-Adjustment Valves

Often used in hydraulic and compressed air systems, these valves can withstand at least 6,000 psi. Turn the handle to adjust flow in small increments for metering, sampling, and other applications requiring fine flow control.
316 stainless steel valves are more corrosion resistant than brass and steel valves.
Metal-to-metal seats resist temperature fluctuations.
Valves with packing have a nut that can be tightened to compress the packing if it leaks.
