Electric Motor Bearing Grease
Able to handle light to moderate loads at high speeds, this grease is often used on electric motor bearings for fans, pumps, and dryers.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Mineral-oil-based grease, derived from petroleum, is more economical than synthetic-oil-based grease. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and withstands a wider range of temperatures.
Grease with lithium thickener offers good heat and moisture resistance. Grease with polyurea thickener has excellent heat resistance and good moisture and oxidation resistance.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Melting temperature is the point at which grease will fail and run out of equipment, leaving it to run dry.

Oil
Resistant to oxidation and heat, use this oil to lubricate a variety of machine tools and equipment. It's also known as turbine oil.
Viscosity is the thickness of an oil. The higher the grade, the thicker the oil, and the less it flows.
